 cabaio (Buenos Aires)

Cabaio stepped out onto the urban art scene in Argentina in 2002. His crew, Vomito Attack, set out to spread ideas that were not already written on the walls in Buenos Aires. Some carried a political message against the backdrop of Argentina's economic crisis as well as the senseless wars that were happening across the globe.
Buenos Aires walls are rapidly becoming a canvas for political and personal expression delivering thought prevoking messages through art. This art is Graffiti Mundo: Street art for the people in Buenos Aires coupled with the political fragility of Argentina makes it truly unique in the worldwide art scene.
Today, the street remains his canvas to express his feelings and opinions. By using different patterns, words and images, he is able to produce a variety of work, each time striving to incorporate new techniques and materials. Cy Twonbly, pop art, the 50s, Japan, and slang are some of the things most influential to his work.
